Barura Upazila is a model upazila for building a digital Bangladesh. Baruaa Upazila is today identified as a model upazila in Bangladesh due to the strong interest of the common people in thought, energy, action, passion and change. Every person of this upazila is cooperative and respectful to law. I extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to the people of Barura Upazila. Barura Upazila of Comilla district is a historically rich upazila, which ranks among the foremost upazilas of Bangladesh in terms of socio-economic development and quality of life of the people. A large part of the total population is dependent on foreign income in terms of livelihood. The common people of this upazila are hardworking and creative. Their intellectual thinking and patriotism are immense. The participation of local people in various development plans of the upazila and in solving social problems is commendable. As the people of this upazila are comparatively aware, they are very much aware of the civil rights and demands, which not only plays a helpful role in the implementation of the government's action plan but is also challenging. Manpower is one of the visible possibilities of this upazila. The network of manpower that is spread all over the world can play a greater role in the development of the country in the future. The upazila administration is constantly working to implement the government's action plan and "Vision 2021 and 2041" for poverty alleviation.
